We have open houses for people to mingle and mix and share ideas and cultures. We advocate for the power of perspective and collective understanding. We care about cultivating a happy and communicative community.
We cook food and have nutrition and healthy-eating classes for seniors and mothers. As well as financial and social health, it can be difficult to get access to education on health living. Our classes make a big difference for these individuals and their families.
We host regular classes on how to guide through the process of citizenship. This can be a difficult process to do alone, but we are proud to coordinate with local partners to help this process be accessible and comfortable for our members.
We help children preserve their native culture by teaching them Arabic and telling them stories. Many families are faced with a culture shock when adapting to a new society, this helps with grounding in our origin’s culture and brings our families together.
